The Vineyard

CHATEAU PIGOUDET, embedded in a pituresque valley close to the river Durance, is situated approximately 35km northeast of Aix-en-Provence, and 30km south of Manosque. This charming landscape, which is protected by the northern mountain Vautubière, is part of the Appellation Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence. The total surface of Château Pigoudet is 275 acres, of which 100 acres are vineyards.

In front of the Château, in the direction of the south-west, the view stretches across the vineyards flowing into the hilly lands of Paul Cezanne’s Sainte-Victoire.

Due to its excellent southern position, the vineyard benefits from the sunshine all year round.

Château Pigoudet’s estate was the summer residence of the archbishop of Aix-en-Provence. The clergymen were always known for their good taste and high standards.
